We missed highlighting a fan yesterday and our apologies! The track was closed and the entire 2010 Indianapolis 500 starting field was at ESPN and later Boston. You can follow the adventure, here. Today, the majority of the drivers were in New York making quite a splash in Herald Square, arriving at with 33 Honda’s, the two-seater IndyCar, Mario Andretti and lots of fans.
Today we’re featuring the IZOD Trophy Girl who will be attending her first Indy 500 this Sunday, rooting for all 33 drivers in the IZOD IndyCar Series and probably, deep down, hoping Ryan Hunter-Reay pulls off a win, in the IZOD sponsored car.
She’ll be in Indy this weekend, see if you can find her.

I’ve wondered who that was and what she was doing always edging into the camera’s frame like some compulsive groupie. I thought she was embarrassing and annoying. A Playboy Playmate? That tie-in is obviously a failure, since we never know who she is or what role she plays (none, obviously). If you’re going to tie Playboy in to this, put her in a bikini and high heels and be honest about it, or find some more productive and less embarrassing role for her to play.
