One of the most beautiful cars to ever grace the speedway.
Nuts, Dave beat me to it with the exact same feeling I’ve always had for this car. The lines of this design still shout Beautiful Fast Race Car!
It’s too bad the colors of many of those cars from the ’10s, ’20s and ’30s are lost to history since almost all the shots we have from those eras are B&W.

I have to agree its a wonderful car.! i have always loved the
millers!!
My hubby says the ’500′ use to start earlier in the day because it tooks sometimes 4 or 5 hours…I just wonder if it was a sunny day in 1928 and the late afternoon sun glinted off gold paint!
