Bio:
I am the head of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Indy Car Series Photo Department. I started working for the Speedway in 1972 as a Staff Photographer and named Director of Photography in 1977, a full time position. I travel to all Indy Car events with a crew of 2 to 3 photographers. While photographing the events is my main function, I give safety seminars to all of the Media Photographers at the events and make sure the photographers have the access needed to do their jobs. My staff and I archive the images and have a Photo Vault at IMS of more than 4 million images dating back to the building of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 1909. I am very proud of my nearly 40 year career here at IMS and hope everyone enjoys the photos created by myself and my staff.
